Our president Karen Kitchel was featured on the latest episode of Cities 97’s Twin Cities Insight (broadcast on 8/29/10). Spoke about how we provide over 360,000 less fortunate kids with toy-filled birthday gift bags and our plans to raise funds with a Pancake Breakfast with MN Twins Michael Cuddyer & Jesse Crain.

Our online-only Social Summer Fundraiser ends tomorrow on August 31 and we need your help to reach our goal of $1,200. These funds will directly support our mission to provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift.
There are a number of ways to lend a hand:
- Make a donation in any amount to the campaign
- Bid on an online auction item. We’ve added an auction to the fundraiser this year including autographed Twins and Viking items, personal concerts by Jeff James or Tim Mahoney and more!
- Spread the word today and tomorrow to friends on Facebook, Twitter, Myspace or your blog.

Learn more about Cheerful Givers while enjoying breakfast with Michael Cuddyer and Jesse Crain. Join us for this fundraiser event on Monday, September 20, 9:30 – 10:30 am at the Chart House Restaurant in Lakeville, MN.You’ll have the opportunity to enter drawings for Minnesota Twins tickets and autographed Twins merchandise. Michael Cuddyer and Jesse Crain will also host a Q&A session. All for only $25. Register today!

We’ve added an online auction as part of our Social Summer Fundraiser this year. All proceeds go toward our campaign goal of $1,200 and support our mission to provide toy-filled birthday gift bags to food shelves and shelters so that parents living in poverty can give their child a birthday gift.
Items up for bid include autographed photos of Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau & Michael Cuddyer, a signed Adrian Peterson Vikings jersey, personal concerts from Tim Mahoney and Jeff James (in your home or office) and more.
