 Cheerful Givers is a 501c3
nonprofit organization committed to helping children in
need. We provide birthday gift bags through shelters and
food shelves to disadvantaged, needy children.
In 2007, we reached 41,095 kids. 2006 was a record-breaking year with 36,529
disadvantaged children being able to experience the joy of receiving a
birthday gift from their parents. This was a 39% increase over 2005.
Since Cheerful Givers began in 1994, we have provided over 250,000
children with birthday gift bags.

Families
A
Cheerful Givers event is a great way to pull your family together and do
some good in your community. It makes a great birthday party activity for
children while instilling the value of concern for one’s neighbor and
community. It can also be done in conjunction with your Thanksgiving
celebration or any other holiday.

Corporate
Cheerful Givers groups within a corporate setting provide employees with the
opportunity to make a difference without leaving the workplace. As a
monthly activity,
the event allows co-workers to gather and share the experience of impacting their community.

Church & Civic Organizations
Cheerful Givers events have been used in a variety of church and civic
venues. Nursing homes, Sunday schools, confirmation classes, and Boy and
Girls Scout troops have all successfully used Cheerful Givers as an activity
to impact the communities in which they serve. The Cheerful Givers event
can be sent home with students to be done at home with the student and
his/her family or completed in the classroom setting.
