jean-2-2In a year when the economy is seriously affecting nonprofits, Comcast enlisted hundreds of volunteers to help many of these organizations as part of Comcast’s 8th annual “Comcast Cares Day” which is one of the largest single days of corporate volunteer efforts in the country.

Cheerful Givers received a helping hand from volunteers at Comcast’s St. Paul headquarter offices where 620 birthday bags were filled by employees.  “Comcast is proud to be an active member of the Twin Cities community, and Comcast Cares Day is our commitment to improving the quality of life in communities we serve,” said Mary Beth Schubert, Comcast’s Vice President of Corporate Communications.  Jean Montgomery,  Call Center Manager, (see photo) added “It was a wonderful project and heartwarming. Looking forward to next year.”
