New Traditions
December 18th, 2006 | Events, Giving
In the last two days I’ve heard from two people about new traditions they have started this holiday season. Mary, in Grand Forks North Dakota, is hosting a Christmas/New Years party where she plans to have her guests fill birthday bags instead of exchanging gifts. We gladly sent her “I’m A Cheerful Giver” stickers for everyone to wear.
Meanwhile, the “Women’s Night Out Crew” in St. Louis Park, MN recently had a “Cheerful Givers party” and are already planning not only to do this again next holiday season but also for each of their birthdays next year. Jenzi Silverman, who told the group about us said “What better way to celebrate turning 40 than by helping create happy birthdays for kids?”
